Grilled Steak with Creamy Shrimp, Seasoned Rice, and Steamed Broccoli

Ingredients:
For the Steak and Shrimp:
1 ribeye steak (or preferred cut)
8–10 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon butter

For the Creamy Sauce:
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional for extra flavor)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

For the Seasoned Rice:
1 cup white rice
2 cups chicken broth or water
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt, to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish

For the Steamed Broccoli:
2 cups broccoli florets
Salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Rice:
In a medium pot, melt butter over medium heat.
Add rice and stir for 1–2 minutes.
Pour in chicken broth (or water), garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt.
Bring to a boil, then lower heat to a simmer.
Cover and cook for about 15 minutes or until rice is tender.
Fluff with a fork and sprinkle with parsley.
  2. Steam the Broccoli:
Steam broccoli florets in a steamer or microwave with a little water until just tender (about 5 minutes).
Season with a pinch of salt.
  3. Season and Grill the Steak:
Rub steak with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder.
Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat.
Grill steak to your desired doneness (about 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare).
Let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving.
  4. Cook the Shrimp:
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and a pinch of paprika.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
    Remove shrimp and set aside.
  5. Make the Creamy Sauce:
In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds.
Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stir until sauce thickens slightly.
    Add Dijon mustard if using.
    Season with salt and pepper.
Return cooked shrimp to the sauce, toss to coat.
  6. Assemble the Plate:
Place seasoned rice on the plate.
    Add grilled steak beside it.
Top steak with some creamy shrimp and sauce.
Add steamed broccoli on the side.
    Garnish everything with fresh parsley.
